One of our favorite holidays is almost here! That’s right, Halloween! It’s the only holiday that doesn’t care who you are but permits you to be whoever you want for a whole night. It’s also the one time of year when we look forward to being scared.
Horror movies, gory costumes, and haunted houses never fail to inspire child-like excitement. What better way to celebrate the holiday than by including Miss Mary Jane in the fun? This is why we here at Greeley Gallery want to share our three favorite ways to celebrate Halloween with cannabis. Check it out.
Visit a Haunted House While High
There’s nothing that will get your blood rushing faster than exploring a haunted house while stoned. If you’re someone who loves being scared, then this experience is one of the scariest things you could do.
Lucky for you, Portland has plenty of options to choose from. Our favorites include Underhill Haunted House at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, right next to the Moda Center. Although the one out at Rossi Farm is also thrilling, you really can’t go wrong.
Disclaimer: Please be careful. Pay attention to your dosage while consuming cannabis. Too much could intensify paranoia and anxiety. Haunted houses are scary with or without cannabis, and we only suggest this option for experienced users.
Make a Pumpkin Bong
Because, why not? Pumpkins are wildly abundant and come in a variety of sizes. For this option, though, we’d recommend using a smaller size that’s easy to hold and handle. However, feel free to choose a big one if you can manage it!
One of the great things about this option is how easy it is to create. Essentially, all that’s required is creating three holes. One will act as your bowl where you put your cannabis, one for your mouth, and one breather hole to plug while you inhale.
All three holes need to intersect inside the pumpkin for it to work. The hole for the bowl is the trickiest because you first need to carve out a quarter-sized circle from the surface of the pumpkin without puncturing it completely. Only poke a small hole all the way through; otherwise, your weed will fall inside the pumpkin.
If you want, you could use a glass down-stem from a glass bong if you have one instead. If you don’t have one, stop into Greeley Gallery and we’ll help. This way, you don’t need to carve out the bowl in the pumpkin since you can just stick the down-stem all the way. Once you’re done, turn on a scary movie, bust out the candy you pretend is for trick-or-treaters, and enjoy your night!
Create Your Own Halloween Costume
Sure, you could purchase a Halloween costume online and look fantastic. But it’s so much more fun to make your own, especially when you’re high. After all, marijuana inspires creativity and helps us think outside the box!
You could stick with the theme and make a cannabis-inspired costume, such as finding a creative way to turn yourself into a joint, or perhaps a Poison Ivy theme (you know the DC Comic hero/villain?), except using marijuana leaves instead of ivy.
Of course, you don’t have to. That’s the best part of Halloween. You get to be anything or anyone you want! So, get high and go wild!
